How We Live Out Our Mission
At Manna Church – Sanford, our mission is the same mission Jesus gave His followers: to glorify God by making disciples, baptizing them in His name, equipping His people to change their world, and planting churches with that same world-changing vision.
We accomplish this by:
We believe that marriage is a sacred covenant instituted by God, uniting one man and one woman in a lifelong, faithful relationship. Established at creation and affirmed throughout Scripture, marriage reflects the gospel as a living picture of Christ’s self-giving love for the Church. Within this covenant, husband and wife are called to love, honor, and serve one another in humility and grace. Marriage provides God’s design for companionship, sexual intimacy, the nurturing of children, and spiritual growth, and is intended for God’s glory, the good of the family, and the witness of the Church.
We accomplish this by:
- Helping people discover their God-given gifts and callings, creating space for growth, and deploying them to be salt and light in their world. Our Small Groups are designed with this in mind.
- Building strong families and fostering a community where people of every age and stage of life can find connection, fulfillment, and purpose.
- Planting churches locally and globally that carry this same vision forward.
