Today we start a new series, "James; Faith/Works".

James 1:2-3 Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds … because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.


F A I T H / W O R K S

The book of James gives us very practical and pointed instructions about living the Christian life. Written to a people who were scattered and suffering, James encourages communities of faith to obey God and to put feet to their faith. Rather than letting us be deceived by a mere profession of faith, James tells us what authentic, saving faith should look like—it works. The faith James describes makes a radical difference in the needs of the world around us. We hope that you enjoy this series!
