Communion: The Gospel of the Kingdom

Text: Luke 22:14–20; 1 Corinthians 11:23–26

Big Idea: Communion is more than remembrance; it is a present-tense encounter with the grace

of Christ.

Summary:

We begin with the Lord’s Table—the sacred meal Jesus instituted with His disciples. This

message explores the past (remembering His sacrifice), the present (communal fellowship with

Christ and His Body), and the future (anticipation of His return). We will also address how

Communion invites us to examine our hearts, receive grace, and walk in unity.
